Trip #2099 Omaha, NE > Breinigsville, PA

We had hoped there might b a load going W or SW out of Omaha when we dropped r load @ Kellogg’s USA so we might b able 2 stop thru the house. Alas, none were available. Always especially frustrating 2 get that close 2 home & not b able 2 stop.
Instead, we r taking a load to Keebler DSC Logistics in Breinigsville, PA 4 Kellogg’s. This load of 15 oz boxes of Kellogg’s Corn Pops weighs 24,908 [1,332 cases]. It is due in eastern Penna @ 0100 during the wee hrs of Mon, the 15th.

En route we have had a “touch of home,” even so, having been able 2 arrange meeting a life-long friend 4 breakfast as we xed Iowa eb & r friend was heading wb.

Though we will b far fr any of r children on Sun, we r going 2 b able 2 have Mother’s Day dinner w/ my sister & her husband as we x thru w Penna, which will also b special. OTR trucking does provide some special opportunities 1 might not otherwise have.
